Drop-Leaf Table with a History

This drop-leaf table belonged to my husband’s grandmother, Tilly Black. It was love at first sight. The wood is durable and strong and withheld hours (and hours!) of sanding. As I applied layers of light blue and off-white paint the table just got better and better!

I love the color and style of this table so much that I used it at our wedding! It housed the name tags of our guests as they entered the outdoor tent. It fit in perfectly at our country-style wedding. This table will have a very long life in our future!
